Learn the recipe while the chest is open
In the updated Stormforge demo, open the chest that contains a recipe and learn it directly from the chest. That’s where you should look for the learning action when you find a new recipe.
Check your demo version first
Roboto Games added direct chest learning in the Stormforge demo update on Steam. If your demo has been open for a while, save and exit so Steam can apply the update before you try again. Check the version on the main menu if you’re comparing what you see with an older guide.
Tell the recipe apart from the ingredients
A recipe unlock adds something you can make. An ingredient chest holds materials that your crafting station can use for a recipe you already know. The developer’s building preview explains that crafting can draw ingredients from chests inside your base radius. That storage feature answers where the ingredients come from. Opening the chest with the recipe is how you learn it.
