Start at the cursed dome
To find storm shield generators in Stormforge, look for the dome around the cursed crystal first. Once you can see the dome, follow one of its visible connections away from the shield. It gives you a direction to search instead of forcing you to sweep the entire storm area.
Follow each visible connection
Trace a connection to its generator and destroy it. Then use the dome as your reference again and look for another connection. Keep moving when a hunting tornado is close, and resume tracking a connection once you have room to see where it leads.
Check what is still protecting the crystal
If the shield stays up, check for another connected generator or a different defense at that encounter. The October 13 developer patch notes introduced the generator connections and reduced the number of generators in large storms. Use the visible clues at the dome rather than expecting a fixed count.
